Debra loves working with couples, helping them reconnect and strengthen their relationships. Her approach helps couples learn to communicate more openly, understand each other with greater compassion, and develop a deeper acceptance of their differences. At the same time, she values the importance of each person’s individual growth within the relationship. By creating a supportive space, Debra helps couples rediscover closeness, navigate challenges with more ease, and find new ways to move forward together.

She also offers private Transpersonal Art Therapy Sessions, both face-to-face and online, creating a safe and supportive space where healing and self-discovery can unfold. Art therapy isn’t about being “good” at drawing — it’s about expression. Creativity can take many forms, from imagery and colour to writing, poetry, story, or movement, each offering a way to explore life’s challenges with a little more space and perspective. This approach is most helpful if you feel drawn to working creatively, inviting imagination and metaphor to reveal new insights and pathways forward gently.

She has spent many years working creatively, using art therapy processes with clients through the NDIS, and several years working with clients who have Dementia, through the DSA. Her experience with Dementia has been one of feeling like she meets the clients at a soul level.  Through observation and listening, she is mostly able to find that creative thread which leads to an enjoyment of doing something which brings them focus and relaxation, as they absorb themselves in their creativity.

Debra holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy and Counselling.  She has trained in dance movement therapy for trauma, giving her an even deeper understanding of the body and its role in the healing process.

She empowers her students and clients with tools and processes that enable them to start integrating new and old pieces into place, regaining a sense of wholeness and well-being.
